| Montmorency Football & Netball Club prides itself on three intricately related, underlying club principles - uncompromising passion, genuine hard work and the accompanying success that will follow. We are looking for like-minded sponsors interested in developing sound commercial relationships based on long-term commitment, mutual benefit and sustained growth. Benefits of becoming a Montmorency Football & Netball Club Sponsor Traditionally Montmorency's working class roots have led to commercial support predominately stemming from the local trade community. While we value these relationships, MFNC management is seeking additional business partners from all industries and professions to help us form a more rounded Sponsors network. MFNC has a flexible tiered sponsorship structure. Regardless of the level of commitment you make, your business will experience considerable benefits such as: an exclusive affiliation with one of the most successful football clubs and competitions in Victoria increased awareness of your product and/or service to a growing network of business partners and spectators in the local and surrounding communities direct brand association with the values and goals of the MFNC good corporate citizenship through your business' commitment to the local community membership to the exclusive MFNC Business Network Benefits of sport sponsorship are well documented. This is an opportunity to develop goodwill and brand equity, increase footfall for your business and should essentially be considered as a cost effective alternative to traditional advertising. The Montmorency Football & Netball Club (MFNC) has become an important part of the community landscape since its establishment in 1924. With a rich history of success, MFNC was a major part of the feeder zone for the Collingwood Football Club during the 1970s. The club's current focus is to return to the top of the recently transformed Northern Football League (NFL). In 2011 we introduced a new management team focussed on club growth and sustained success. The election of Damien Long as President, Steven Lock as Vice President, Simon Swindon as Secretary and Greg Bowman as Treasurer provides MFNC with an experienced leadership body, representative of the local community and capable of introducing fiscally sound initiatives. MFNC has also appointed Ian Stillman as General Manager to implement business administrative strategies and will work closely with the Executive Team. In recent times, MFNC has undergone a period of transition. In the pursuit of industry best practice, MFNC has made substantial progress in the off-season by: retaining the coaching panel from 2011 and recruited well for 2012 developing a new score board which will show sponsorship scores and replays completing new lighting around the ground to allow night games to be played developing the netball club to 3 teams in 2012 8 This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2011 was a big year for MFNC with all sides making the finals and our Reserves 18 and Netball side winning the Premiership. Our Juniors were well represented fielding 14 teams in the NFL and was awarded the Northern Football League Junior Club of the Year. We have managed to forge a very close relationship with our Junior partners which in previous years was not viewed as a high priority. Going forward from 2012, the majority of junior games will be played on the senior ground; we are looking forward to a better partnership and bigger exposure for our Sponsors. Our Netballers had Premiership success and are looking to expand the number of sides in 2012 to three sides. Our other achievements: Dean Limbach won the first 18 NFL Goal Kicking award with 87 goals MFNC won the Boags Brewery Club of the Year Our charity events raised over $20,000 for Beyond Blue and White Ribbon Foundation We are striving for the ultimate success in 2012.
